The Troy Community Land Bank has completed the full rehabilitation of 834 River Street, transforming a formerly vacant and underutilized 19th century rowhouse into three high quality affordable housing units that will remain under Land Bank ownership to ensure long term affordability and responsible stewardship.

On Tuesday, March 18, TCLB celebrated the removal of Red X placards from four stabilized properties—3229 and 3230 6th Ave, as well as 3209 and 3211 7th Ave—marking a major step forward in their stabilization and future redevelopment.

The Troy Community Land Bank (TCLB) continues to make tremendous strides in revitalizing vacant properties throughout our city! A month ago, TCLB completed a critical roofing project at 17 Park Avenue, a key step in stabilizing the building. For years, this property had been marked with a red “X,” indicating it was unsafe for firefighters to enter. With the new roof now in place, we’ve proudly removed the “X,” signaling that this building—and others like it—are on the path to safety and stability!
